She is based on African stories and folklore. "As you suspected no one was trapped, but instead you find the exhausted sound came from a huge spider-girl! She has already noticed you and seems to take a break to sum you up in one consuming stare." Her quest is based on the story 'Anansi and the dispersal of wisdom'. The Anansi tales originated from the Akan people of present-day Ghana. The word Ananse is Akan and means "spider". The tales later spread to the West Indies. Notes Her character is the only one to appeal to a masochist player. Her pictures are fan art for the character Arachne in the anime "Monster Musume".
